Popular Afrobeat singer, Davido has landed himself in a big mess as the organizers of the Warri Again Concert, Brownhill investment Company Limited has filed a N2.3 billion lawsuit against him and his music label, Davido Music Worldwide Limited.

According to them, the singer breached a contract to perform at their event in October 2023 after receiving N70 million as payment.

The claimant seeks N2 billion in damages, N150 million in legal fees, N30 million for the cost of filing the suit, and a public apology from Davido on social media and in newspapers.

They also demand the return of $94,500 and an injunction preventing Davido from performing in Nigeria until the funds are refunded.

Recall that Davido was called out by Former NFF President, Amaju Pinnick in October over his failure to appear at the 2023 Edition of the Warri Again concert after he was paid a sum of $94,500.

Davido in his response lambasted the former NFF boss, accusing him of squandering money the Federal Government gave him to improve the quality of football playing in Nigeria.
